Caffe Demetre

Me and my friend had been planning to come here to taste the famous cheesecake, our expectations were more than met. It was definitely a special cheesecake. Price was very reasonable we ended up paying 30 dollars for a table of two. Ambience was very nice too.

I think this is my favorite GTA location so far. It's super clean and the staff is friendly. They're also super generous with the toppings and they were nice and fresh. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star rating was the set up of the cafe. The spot where we were seated makes it hard to see a server and for them to see you. Otherwise, everything was great. I'll be back 😊

Very clean place. Server was fabulous. I felt like I was in an upper class restaurant as opposed to a dessert bar. The food was quickly and eloquently prepared. Will go back for sure!

Great little dessert place

Always loved Demetres and this location has some great staff from my experience last night.

The Split Personality was the most delicious dessert ever! We were four people to share this beauty and absolutely loved it! ♥️

Very busy at times, and some other places have better dessert for the price

It's hard to give a low review for desserts but my expectation for a dessert speciality place where most of their items on the menu is easy to make (and expensive) is high.The centre of ice cream (homemade) ball was frozen (crystallized ice), not smooth and creamy. The waffle was soggy/mushy.Service was annoying. We were bugged by the server constantly and felt pressure to leave after 20mins. The atmosphere is packed and cramped and has a very basic decoration. Ordered: Summertime FatnessWaffle with Brownies and chocolate ice cream

Your sugar craving place is here! The layout is amazing and the staff is very nice, ambience is Familar and the space is ok. I would suggest you to share portions because one slide of cake can be worth for two people.

Yummy! Had a the interstellar waffle which was a Belgian waffle with Nutella, strawberries and banana. Good service and clean restaurant. Prices seem a little higher than I remember but it makes sense everything has gone up since minimum wage did. Great place to enjoy a dessert :)

Outstanding dessert spot with the best waffles and crepes I’ve had. A little pricey but the service and quality of food makes up for it. Been here many times and I’m looking forward to returning in the future. Tried a crepe this time but I have to give the slight edge to the waffles.

Very good. Solid conviction in these stars. Nice staff. Great presentation. No prices on the menu. I'd say if you're a group of two, a dish each and a drink might set you both back $20...ish

Bald server was super rude to my mother when we asked to change seats. Lots of room in the restaurant, and the instructions were to seat yourself so not sure why we got so much attitude. Otherwise service was fine.

Easily my favorite dessert place in Toronto. The homemade icecream is soft yet dense and creamy, and the crepes are incredible. Many people I know as far as Sudbury make sure to stop here when they come to the city. Personal favorite is the Pomme Pilot crepe (not pictured). Great for the entire family.

It was super crowded and we had to wait to be seated...not too long. The waitress was attentive and let me sample the sorbet as i wasn't sure I'd like it. (It wasn't my favourite) The crepes were absolutely delicious and the ice cream was divine!!😋😋

It was a great place. Very rich if you want to indulge in dessert. I got the summertime fatness and it became my dinner because it was so rich. I highly recommend sharing if you are looking for a light dessert after a meal. But overall, it was a great restaurant and the staff were professional. Time wise, the food came pretty quickly. ☺️

Best servers ever, best ice cream ever, best food comas ever

Everything was amazing! The atmosphere , the service and the Desert! Kids loved it so did we ! Definitely going to be are to go place !

My husband and I love Demetres at Kingsway. Everytime we have an opportunity, we bring family and friends. We recommend to everyone we know. My favorite is one that it calls APPLAUSE. My Husband's favorite is COCOA ONO. Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS.

The atmosphere is amazing. Staff are pleasant. Desserts are made quickly and always delicious!

A place to be for people with very sweeth tooth!!
